A Saint Mary's Birth Story: Lauren and Rowen

This is Lauren's Saint Mary's Birth Story:

I had received prenatal care from a clinic out of town. We planned to schedule a C-Section on Monday at my next appointment due to my baby being breech.
I never made it to that appointment because early Thursday morning around 1am, my water unexpectedly broke. I panicked since my husband was at work, I knew I needed a C-Section, and I wasn’t sure if I had time to make it to the hospital out of town.
After being advised to go to my nearest hospital, I went to the Emergency Room at Saint Mary’s. The team quickly gathered my information and reassured me that everything would be okay. Dr. Nelson was on call that night and he exceeded my expectations!
Within 3 hours of walking into St. Mary’s, I was holding my baby boy. The team of nurses responded quickly and professionally and made me feel at ease. I can’t express how thankful I am for them!
Dr. Nelson delivered my son with the best of care. I look forward to him being there for our next child. I am so happy my journey to motherhood began at Saint Mary’s hospital and everything worked out in the best way!
